But we’re also behind our screens evaluating and compiling the best the city has to offer so that you, our reader and friend, get a glimpse into the best of Philly and what makes it so special here.

We’re aware of (almost) everything happening in our city, but selective with what we choose to publish. The truth is that larger, financially-backed outlets tend to skew mainstream in their content. Our event calendar is a significant part of what we offer our readers. Meticulously handcrafted, we make selections based not only on the crowds we want to attract, but also on the events we ourselves want to attend.
